Trails is a project of subjective and collective mapping using the smartphone as a field recorder. During some walkings together with Murcian citizens, traces are collected using smartphones via pictures, videos, sounds and texts. These traces are then injected into a digital device to serve an audio-visual installation. Using geotagging and geolocation’s functions, we thereby created together a digital trail of the walks. Trails is an audio-visual installation created together as a snapshot of a city’s surveyed territory.
